Wow, that was...wough... As promised, here's mine: This is dedicated to Mae, who always inspires me and helps me out in tough times. Fairie Luck In the deepening night, The Fairie Queen took flight, And through the misty air she roamed, To a mortal on a hill she did go, And that mortal looked at her, Bewilderment in his eyes, For he had never seen such, And probably will never again,
“Look to me,” The fairie sang to him, “ Look to me and try, Try to look, inside my soul, A place not most venture, But I dare you now, Come on, come in, And tell me, What, You see.”
“ Your soul,” The young mortal said “ Is sad and full of gloom.” The fairie smiled sadly, Then hummed a sad tune “ To wonder yarn hills, To fallow into the gloom, See what path lies ahead, If not, then soon. Find upon that path, A maiden fair, And soon you shall have a house, To share. That is what it should have been, For me, But alas it shall ne’er be.”
“Shine once, Shine twice. Shine three times around, To that lovely little sound, Inside your lovely heart, Shine once, Shine twice, Shine three times around, To that lovely little sound, Inside your gentle heart, For you dear mortal, Are a good man, Shine bright for the world to see.”
And the fairie, That lovely fairie, Flew off into the night, Leaving the dear mortal , Until out of site, And that mortal lived gallantly, Or so, It is said. You must trust your own heart, And without it, You are dead.*cringes* so sue me, I was tired.
